Work plan

  • The film is being produced now.

  • Sara has reached almost all the children or grandchildren from the hiding place in PrzemyÅ›l.

  • With the help of the Polish historian Lukasz, Sara found two possibl locations for the hiding place in PrzemyÅ›l.

  • We shot several interviews in Israel.

  • We recorded several interviews on Zoom.

  • We edited some of them and created a trailer and a rough cut from theexisting materials.

We need to continue shooting interviews with additional family members in
Israel, and via Zoom, in the rest of the world. We plan to travel to Przemyśl
and meet with Lukasz there. Together we will look for the hiding place, or what
is left of it, and, of course, interview Lukasz.
We need to shoot dance scenes that will be integrated in the film (see
Declaration of Intent) and integrate them in the film.
And, of course, edit the film. This is a long, hard process – choosing the right
sections from the raw material and joining them together. Creating a story
from the pieces of the puzzle, a story that will make Bruno's Voice a moving,
instructive film.

In order to finance the production of the film

  • We submitted the film to 3 funds that support documentary films in Israel, and will continue to submit it to other funds and organizations in order to receive funding and support for the production.

  • Crowdfunding: Since we are not sure of receiving support from one of the funds, we have decided on crowdfunding to get donations for the production of the film. We will be happy to welcome you to the production. (Link to donation page)

  • Since we are an active production company, we have a studio, along with filming, sound recording and editing equipment. We donate the use of all our equipment to the making of the film (saving 50,000-75,000 NIS) and so, save the production the costs of renting the equipment and the cutting rooms.

Schedule
We aim to complete the shooting of all the interviews in Israel and via Zoom
by early July, and then start editing the film.
In July or August we plan 2-3 shooting days in Przemyśl in Poland, and also
shoot the dance segments.
Our goal is to show the film on next year's Holocaust Day on one of the
principal channels in Israel, and send it to Holocaust museums around the
world for their use.
Obviously the schedule is dependent on finding the remaining funds for the
completion of the film.
